Beaphar Pest Spray

Beaphar skin spray, solution for rabbits, rodents, ferrets, cage and aviary birds and pigeons for controlling pests (lice, mites and fleas). This spray is effective for weeks.

Instructions for use and dosage: shake before use.

Birds: Hold the bird in your hand and spray briefly from a distance of approximately 25-30 cm. For small birds (up to 100 grams), spray 1-2 times, and for large birds, spray 3-5 times. Start at the tail and spray against the direction of the feathers. Always spray only on the plumage and not on the head or unfeathered skin.
Treat the head as follows: spray the liquid onto a cloth or glove and rub it over the feathers of the head. In case of infestation, treat all birds. Ensure good ventilation during and after treatment. If necessary, repeat treatment after 2 weeks. Preferably use a glove (plastic) for the hand holding the bird. Remove bathwater after treatment. The spray is effective for 2 weeks as long as the birds do not bathe.

Rabbits, rodents and ferrets: Rub firmly through the coat and spray against the direction of the hair. Allow it to soak in for one minute. Then comb out the coat. For small animals like guinea pigs, spray 2-3 times; for large rabbits and ferrets, spray 3-5 times. As long as the animal is bothered by pests, treat every 2 weeks, especially in places where the pests congregate.

Side effects: none known. If you notice serious side effects or other types of reactions, please inform your veterinarian.

Safety measures for the user: toxic to fish and bees. It may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, ears, mouth and anus. For external use on animals only. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Keep away from food, drink and animal feed. Wash hands after use. For external use on animals. Flammable. Avoid open flames, sparks and do not smoke during use. Vapors may cause drowsiness and dizziness. Do not inhale spray mist. Use only in well-ventilated areas.

Storage and disposal recommendations: store in the original packaging at room temperature in a dry, dark and well-ventilated place. Should not be allowed to enter waterways, as this may pose a danger to fish and other aquatic organisms. Unused veterinary medicinal products or residues thereof should be disposed of in accordance with local requirements.
